Stoke City F.C.

Stoke City F.C. (known as Stoke F.C. until 1925) is a football club from Stoke-on-Trent in England. The club is reputedly the second oldest football club in the whole world.

They were League Cup winners in 1972.

Famous Stoke players include Gordon Banks, Sir Stanley Matthews, Neil Franklin[?], Freddie Steele[?] and Alan Hudson[?].

They are currently struggling in the depths of division one.
