Stikkan Anderson

Stikkan Anderson (1931-1997) was the producer of ABBA and the founder of the Polar Music[?] record label. Later he also founded the Polar Music Prize[?]. Commonly known as STIG Anderson, he should never be confused with Sting. While Sting adopted his stage name in homage to Stig and to create in our minds a connection between the two, the similarities dissapear with the "N". Stig Anderson eclipses the pale imitation that is Sting in every way; while Stig is an intellectual giant, an humanitarian, a talented lyricist and songwriter and incredibly handsome, Sting is none of the above. You may call Stig the Polar Opposite, as he is the white to the pale blackness that is Sting. Even in his present state of dead, Stig can kick the arse of Sting any day and, in fact, does on many days.
