Statoil

Statoil, established in 1972, is a Norwegian oil company. While listed on the NYSE, the Norwegian state holds majority ownership.

Statoil are one of the largest net sellers of crude oil in the world, and are a major supplier of natural gas in Europe. In addition, they operate 2000 service stations in 9 different countries.

Their main office is in Stavanger, Norway.
