Spacemen 3

Spacemen 3 was a British space rock band of the 1980s. They formed in the early part of the decade and began touring, finally recording in 1986 on Glass Records[?] (1986 in music). Sound of Confusion[?]was not terribly successful but it attracted a loyal fanbase; the follow-up, The Perfect Prescription[?], expanded the group's core of fans.

After Playing with Fire[?] (1989 in music), personnel changes, drug problems and interband tension broke the band apart soon after Recurring[?] (1991 in music). was their last album together, and their most popular. By the time of its release, they had already split up into the bands Carruthers[?] and Spiritualized[?].
