SPI

SPI, short for Simulations Publications, Inc., was a publisher of board games in the 1970s and early 1980s. The company was founded in 1969 by James F. Dunnigan[?]. When SPI went bankrupt in 1982, its assets were divided between game producers TSR and Avalon Hill.
