A flemish social democratic party. led by Steve Stevaert[?]. Were the big winners in the 2003 elections. Running on a joint list with the social liberal[?] Spirit party, there share of the vote went up from 9%(of the total Belgian vote) to almost 15% and a shock second place in the number of votes. The main victims of this resurgence was the Green Agalev party. Will almost certainly be part of Verhofstadt[?]'s centre-left coalition.
