Skippy (1931 movie)

Skippy is one of the first films nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, in 1931. It was written by Joseph L. Mankiewicz[?], Don Marquis, Norman Z. McLeod[?] and Sam Mintz[?] from the comic strip by Percy Crosby[?], and directed by Norman Taurog[?].

The movie starred Jackie Cooper, Robert Coogan[?], Mitzi Green[?] and Jackie Searl[?]. Taurog won the Academy Award for Directing.
