Sinbad is the name of a legendary Arab sailor, who has numerous fantastic adventures. Some tales of Sinbad's voyages are found in the Arabian Nights. Some of the stories have similarities to those of Homer's Odyssey.

Many movies, as well as animated cartoons and novels, have been based on tales of Sinbad.


Sinbad is also the name used by an actor from the United States of America, born November 10, 1956.

After his time of college in 1974 to 1978, his film career began in 1985 and he appeared on The Redd Foxx Show[?] in 1986.
