Simeon Bavier

Simon Bavier (September 16, 1825 - January 27, 1896) was a Swiss politician.

He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 10, 1878, and resigned on January 5, 1883. He was affiliated with the Free Democratic Party. During his time in office he held the following departments:

He was president of Switzerland in 1882.
