Siberian Husky

Redirected from Siberian husky

The Siberian Husky' is a large dog breed that was developed in northeastern Siberia for its ability to run long distances in the snow pulling moderate amounts of weight. The Siberian resembles the larger Alaskan Malamute[?] and is used in polar and sub-polar areas for working and dog sledding[?]. The Siberian has a double coat that requires a thorough brushing about once a week to keep it clean. The dog preferes to live outdoors so owners that plan on kepping their Siberian inside should be sure to take the dog outside for long periods of time.
