Shotley Township is a township located in Beltrami County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 54.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 121.2 km² (46.8 mi²). 84.9 km² (32.8 mi²) of it is land and 36.3 km² (14.0 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 29.96% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 54 people, 29 households, and 20 families residing in the township. The population density is 0.6/km² (1.6/mi²). There are 126 housing units at an average density of 1.5/km² (3.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 29 households out of which 6.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.5% are married couples living together, 3.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% are non-families. 31.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.86 and the average family size is 2.20.
