Shirley Tilghman

Shirley Tilghman (born 17 Sept 1946) (photo (http://www.princeton.edu/pr/home/01/0505-president/prcon/m/IMG_0152b.jpg)) succeeded Harold Shapiro[?] as President of Princeton University in 2001. Before her appointment, she held the Howard Prior Professorship of the Life Sciences in Princeton's molecular biology department.
