Seeing Eye

Since The Seeing Eye was the first guide dog school in North America, the term Seeing Eye dog[?] is the one used by most of the North American public for guide dogs for the blind. The term, however, should only be applied to dogs that graduate from The Seeing Eye in Morristown, New Jersey.
