ScriptBasic programming language

ScriptBasic is a scripting language variant of BASIC. The source of the compiler is available as a C program under the GPL license.

The compiler generates intermediary code which is then interpreted by a runtime environment. ScriptBasic is available for Windows and Unix and may as well be embedded in other programs. It can create standalone executable files. A runtime library is linked into the executable.
