Scheemda

Scheemda (population: 14,350) is a town in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Groningen. The municipality covers an area of 117.17 km2 (of which 2.41 km2 water).

The municipality of Scheemda also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Heiligerlee[?], Midwolda[?], Nieuw-Scheemda[?], Nieuwolda[?], Oostwold[?], 't Waar[?], Westerlee[?].
