Sandy Wilson

Sandy Wilson (born May 19, 1924) is a British composer and lyricist[?], best known for his musical, The Boyfriend (1954).

Wilson was born in Sale, England[?], and was educated at Harrow School and Oriel College, Oxford. Most of his work for the stage was material for revues[?], starring such performers as Peter Cook. His other musicals include:

  • The Buccaneer (1953)
  • Valmouth (1958)
  • Divorce Me, Darling (1964)
  • The Clapham Wonder (1978)
