Sandviken

Sandviken is a municipality in east central Sweden, in the county of Gävleborg. The municipality covers an area of 1164.7 km². Of the total population of 37064, 18635 are male, and 18429 are female. The population density of the community is 32 inhabitants per km².

Note: As Sandviken means the sandy bay there are numerous other places of that name throughout Scandinavia.
