Salix

Salix, of the Salicaceae[?] family, is the genus of willows.

There are about 300 species and countless varieties, hybrids and cultivars. For example:

Salix vitellina - Golden willow
Salix fragilis - Crack willow
Salix caprea - Goat willow
Salix purpurea - Purple osier willow
Salix cinerea - Grey Sallow
