Salinas, Puerto Rico

Salinas is a small Puerto Rican town near Ponce.

Salinas has long been a fishing spot for Puerto Ricans, known for it's beaches and fish variety.

Although Salinas doesn't have any commercial airports, there is a Military air base there. In addition, there is a military youth camp there, Camp Santiago[?], which is visited every year by many different groups of Boy scouts[?], Girl scouts[?] and other children's groups.

Famous people from Salinas include former world boxing champion Carlos Espada[?].
