Rumina

In Roman mythology, Rumina was a goddess who protected mothers and infants who were nursing, human and animal.

Her temple was near the Ficus Ruminales[?], the fig tree on the Palatine Hill where Romulus and Remus were raised by the wolf. In AD 58, this tree started to die--this was interpreted as a bad omen.
