Ross Powers (February 10, 1979- ) is a world champion snowboarder from Stratton, Vermont. He led a U.S. sweep in the 2002 Winter Olympics men's halfpipe competition a day after his 23rd birthday, the first time the Americans have swept a Winter Olympic event since the men's figure skaters did in 1956. Powers got a vertical of about 18 feet, and performed two McTwists, a cab 720 with an indy grab, a frontside 720 with an indy grab and a stalefish grab[?].
