BBC BASIC
for the
BBC Microcomputer
, a microcomputer that enabled
Acorn, Ltd
to win a contract with the
British Broadcasting Corporation
. In
1983
she developed one of the first
RISC
(Reduced Instruction Set Computer) processor, the
Acorn RISC Machine
(ARM).
