BBC BASIC programming language

Redirected from BBC BASIC

BBC BASIC was developed in 1981 as a native programming language for Acorn BBC Microcomputer. It was a version of BASIC adapted for a computer literacy project of the BBC. It extended traditional BASIC with procedures and functions, REPEAT...UNTIL and IF...THEN...ELSE structures. BBC BASIC also included powerful statements for controlling the BBC Micro's four-channel sound output and its graphics display.
