Rockwell (typeface)

Rockwell is a typeface belonging to the family of so-called slabserif[?] typefaces, where the serifs are about as thick as the main strokes in every letter. This makes it useful primarily for decorative purposes and headlines[?] less than long text bodies.

It is based on an earlier, more condensed slabserif design called Litho Antique, its 1933 design for Monotype[?] was supervised by Frank Hinman Pierpont[?].
