Rock en espanol

Rock en Español is the latest generation of Spanish rock and roll. Borrowing heavily from British and American rock and roll music and his own popular music (cumbia[?], ranchera[?], rumba, tango, etc) Rock en Español has evolved from a cult-like music movement to a more well established music genre.

Today, Rock en Español includes bands from all over Latin America and Spain:

Also, there are artists like Enrique Bumbury[?], Gustavo Cerati[?], Shakira,Julieta Venegas[?],Fey, Alejandra Guzman and Carlos Vives.

All one continue to make strides in popularizing Rock en Español.
