Robert Speisman

Robert Speisman (19XX-September 11, 2001) was a diamond executive. He was executive vice president and board member for the global diamond manufacturer Lazare Kaplan International[?], New York, where he had worked for 17 years. He married a daughter of Lazare Kaplan's chairman, Maurice Tempelsman, and was chairman of the board of trustees of the American Gem Society.

He graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

He died at age 48 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack on board American Airlines flight 77.

A resident of Irvington, New York, he was survived by his wife, Rena; his parents, Jack and Joyce; and three daughters, Tara, Brittany and Hayley.
