River Frome

The River Frome is a river in Dorset in the south of England. It rises to the east of Beaminster[?], passes through Dorchester, West Stafford[?] and Woodsford[?]. At Wareham[?] it is joined by the River Piddle[?], also known as the River Trent, and from then on it is navigable for almost 8 miles of river estuary, past Poole harbour and Brownsea Island[?].
