Richard Rorty

Richard Rorty is an American postmodernist philosopher. He belongs to the Pragmatist school of philosophy. His critics believe him to be a moral relativist.

Major works include Philosophy and the Mirror of Nature; Contingency, Irony and Solidarity; Objectivity, Relativism, and Truth: Philosophical papers, Volume I; Philosophy and Social Hope.
