HMS Sir Galahad

Redirected from RFA Sir Galahad

Three ships of the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxilary[?] have been named Sir Galahad for the perfect knight of Arthurian legend.

The first HMS Sir Galahad[?] was a Round Table class trawler[?] used as a minesweeper in World War II.

The second RFA Sir Galahad (L3005), a landing ship (logistic), was lost in the Falklands War.

The third RFA Sir Galahad (L3005), a landing ship (logistic) named for (and given the same pennant number as) the previous Galahad, was involved in the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
