Reserve

A reserve is an area where species of flora and fauna can be protected and preserved from extinction. Examples include nature reserves and game reserves[?].

A reserve can also be a financial measure to prevent a nation or a company from becoming bankrupt. Examples include the Federal Reserve of the United States of America.
