Reginald Barclay

Lieutenant Reginald Barclay, a character in the fictional Star Trek universe, is an engineer aboard the Starship Enterprise. He is played by Dwight Schultz. He first appeared in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, then on the later show Star Trek Voyager.

Perhaps the most human character aboard the Enterprise E, Barklay has many flaws that he must overcome. He is shy and insular with a tendency to stutter. He had to overcome a fear of being transported[?], and he fights with a holodiction[?] problem.
