Reese Witherspoon (born March 22, 1976) is an American actress. She has starred in a number of films including Fear[?], Freeway[?], Pleasantville[?], Cruel Intentions, Election[?], American Psycho, Legally Blonde[?] and Sweet Home Alabama.

Witherspoon married actor Ryan Phillippe on June 5, 1999. They have one child, Ava.

She is known for her versatility as an actress, playing both comedic and dramatic roles.
