Redirected from Quantum Torpedo
The quantum torpedo improves on the older weapon in its method of reaction. Instead of firing the deuterium slug into the anti-deuterium[?] containment chamber, the deuterium is phased into a state of quantum flux. The fluxed matter is then moved into the same space occupied by the anti-deuterium block. The deuterium is then rephased so that it is occupying the exact same physical space as the anti-deuterium. The two blocks are instantly annihilated creating the explosion.
This method of quantum flux ensures a thorough mixing of the opposing elements and a more efficient detonation cycle.
