Pull My Daisy

Pull My Daisy is a 1959 film which typifies the Beat Generation. It tells the story of a railway brakeman whose painter wife invites several poets to hang around their house. It stars Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, Larry Rivers[?], Peter Orlovsky[?], David Amram[?], Richard Bellamy[?], Alice Neel[?], Sally Gross[?] and Pablo Frank[?].

The movie was adapted Jack Kerouac from an unpublished play of his. It was directed by Robert Frank[?] and Alfred Leslie[?] and has been deemed "culturally significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
