Private Benjamin

Private Benjamin is a 1980 comedy film which tells the story of a society girl who discovers things are not as soft when she joins the Army. It stars Goldie Hawn, Eileen Brennan[?], Armand Assante[?], Sam Wanamaker, Barbara Barrie[?], Mary Kay Place[?], Harry Dean Stanton, Albert Brooks and Alan Oppenheimer[?].

The movie was written by Nancy Meyers[?], Harvey Miller[?] and Charles Shyer[?]. It was directed by Howard Zieff[?].

It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Goldie Hawn), Best Actress in a Supporting Role[?] (Eileen Brennan) and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen.

In 1981, Private Benjamin was made into a television series starring Lorna Patterson[?], Eileen Brennan, Hal Williams[?] and Joel Brooks[?].
