President of Iraq
The President of Iraq is Iraq's head of state and chief of government. All of Iraqis presidents have been authoritarian dictators so the office does not have a clearly designed constitutional structure.
The president exercises all power single-handedly, operating only with the consultation of a small cabinet.

- Abd ar-Rahman al-Bazzaz[?] (1966)
- Abd ar-Rahman Arif[?] (1966-1968)
- Ahmad Hassan al-Bakr (1968-1979)
- Saddam Hussein (1979-2003)
