Pont de Suert

Pont de Suert is the capital of the comarca of Alta Ribagorça, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, located at 838 metres above the sea, by the river Noguera Ribagorzana[?], a tributary to the Segre. Population 2,167 (1996).

The local Ribagorçan dialect is a variant of Catalan, which has some transitional traits to Aragonese.
