Pharaohe Monch

Pharaohe Monch is an American alternative rapper and hip hop artist, who originally rose to fame as a member of Organized Konfusion with Prince Poetry[?]. After their final album together in 1997 (see 1997 in music), Monch signed to Rawkus Records[?], an indie label[?]. After making several guest appearances, Monch's much-hyped debut, Internal Affairs[?] was released in 1999 (see 1999 in music) to critical acclaim but slim sales.
