Pekela

Pekela (population: 13,588) is a municipality in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Groningen. The municipality covers an area of 50.22 km2.

The municipality of Pekela consists the following towns, villages and townships: Boven Pekela[?], Nieuwe Pekela[?], Oude Pekela[?].
