Pago Pago, American Samoa

Pago Pago, pronounced "Pango Pango", is the capital of American Samoa, a territory of the United States of America. Its 1990 population was 10,640. The city is located on Tutuila Island[?]. Pago Pago is the only port of call in American Samoa. Tourism and tuna canning are important industries. From 1878 to 1951 it was a coaling and repair station for the U.S. navy.
