Opsterland

Opsterland (population: 28,816) is a municipality in the northern Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The municipality covers an area of 227.56 km² (of which 2.65 km² water).

The municipality of Opsterland consists the following towns, villages and townships: Bakkeveen[?], Beetsterzwaag[?], Frieschepalen[?], Gorredijk[?], Hemrik[?], Jonkerslân[?], Langezwaag[?], Lippenhuizen[?], Luxwoude[?], Nij Beets[?], Olterterp[?], Siegerswoude[?], Terwispel[?], Tijnje[?], Ureterp[?], Wijnjewoude[?].
