Office applications suite

Office applications suite, also called Offimatic Suite, is a set of computer programs suitable for typical office work. They are sold or otherwise distributed together, and usually able to interact with each other on a higher level than the operating system would normally allow and with common user interface (menus[?],keyboard shortcuts[?], buttons, bars...).

There is no set rule regarding the programs to be included in an office application suite, but most will include at least a word processor and a spreadsheet element. In addition to these the suite may contain a presentation program, a database management system and minor graphics and communications tools.

Major office suites

Newer variations on the office applications suite include the graphics application suite and others.
