Northridge, California

Northridge is a city incorporated in the City of Los Angeles.

It is relatively square in shape. It is bordered by Reseda[?] and Canoga Park[?] to the south, Chatsworth[?] to the west, Porter Ranch[?] to the north-west, Granada Hills[?] to the north-east, North Hills[?] to the east, and Van Nuys to the south-east.

The 1994 Northridge Earthquake[?] is named for the community based on early estimates of the location of the quake's epicenter; however further refinements showed it to be technically in neighboring Reseda.

Notable locations:

California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

Northridge Fashion Center[?], a large shopping mall.
