North/South Line

The North/South Line (in Dutch Noord/Zuidlijn) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a new metro line being constructed from 2003. It will run from Amsterdam North (across the IJ waterway) to train station Amsterdam Zuid WTC in the south of Amsterdam (Zuidas area), under the IJ and through (i.e. under) the center of the city. This project has been budgetted at 1400 million Euros and is to be completed in 2011.
