NGC 7742

In astronomy, NGC 7742, is the designation for a Type 2 Seyfert galaxy that lies approximately 22 mega-parsecs or 72 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Pegasus.

This galaxy shows evidence of highly ionized atoms because of the spectrum of its intensely luminous[?] nucleus[?].
