Redirected from New College, U of T
The college is based in two massive structures Wilson Hall[?] and Wetmore Hall[?] on the western edge of U of T by Spadina Avenue[?]. The two brick buildings hold the colleges class rooms, dining hall, library, and living space for 800 students. The residences were at first considered nice and modern but have not been well maintained and are now well known for their rats and odour. In September 2003 New College is opening a new residence bilding on Wilcox St., that will be equiped with all the most modern conveniences.
New College has, over the last few years, had the lowest entering average of any of the downtown campuses. Along with its poor residence New College also has one of the smallest college libraries and lacks the financial freedom to grant many scholarships. New College specializes in Physical Education[?] and Gender Studies[?]. Many of the students in New College residence are from Engineering because the Faculty of Applied Science doesn't have its own student residence.
