Nestor (genus)

Nestor is a genus of New Zealand parrots, apparently the single genus of the nestorinae subfamily. Family Psittacidae, order Psittaciformes, class Aves.

  • South Island Kaka, Nestor meridionalis meridionalis
  • Norfolk Island Kaka, Nestor productus (extinct)
