Neman River

The Neman (Lithuanian Nemunas, Belorussian Nyoman, German Memel) is an important Eastern European River rising in Belarus and flowing through Lithuania before draining into the Baltic Sea near Klaipeda. In the 19th century the Neman was the eastern border of the Kingdom of Prussia.
