Neamt

Neamţ is a county in North-Eastern Romania. Its main cities are Piatra Neamţ[?], Roman[?], Bicaz[?] and Tārgu Neamţ[?].

Its population is 557,000 (2002 census).

An important feature of the county's geography is Mt. Ceahlău[?], part of the Carpathian Mountains.

Neamţ is home to some of the famous Moldavian Monasteries[?].
