National colours
National colours are frequently part of a country's set of national symbols.
Many states and nations have formally adopted a set of colors as their official "national colours" while others have de facto national colours that have become well-known through popular use. National colors often appear on a variety of different mediums, from the nation's flag to their sports jersies.
Some well-known national colours
- The United States of America- red, white, and blue
- The Netherlands- orange
- China- red and yellow
- Canada- red and white
- Finland- blue and white
